THE 2023 TITANS RUCK & RUMBLE
Dress Code: All players must wear their club uniform – shorts, shirt, and socks
Age Dispensation: Players must all be at the age group according to the year of birth. Age dispensation is allowed for boys by consideration and approval of the Tournament Director. As contact rugby is played in this tournament, girls are automatically allowed to play one age group down. All players are to bring a photo ID on the day of the tournament in the event that age disputes are raised regarding age group eligibility.
Coaches: 2 coaches per team are allowed to coach from within the designated areas during the matches.
Points System: W=4 points D=2 points L=1 point
Finals: If the match ends in a draw, the team who scored the first try will be declared the winner. In the event of a scoreless tie, the winner will be decided via a coin toss.
Rain: In the event of a heavy downpour, a match(es) may be called off before or after its commencement solely at the discretion of the tournament committee.
Lightning: Play will be stopped according to the lightning alert/thunder rules (<30 seconds between lightning/thunder intervals). In the event of lightning or extreme weather, play shall be suspended. Significant delays in play shall be managed by the Tournament Director.
Insurance: Team managers/Clubs are to ensure ALL participants (players and coaches) have their own insurance coverage in place. Titans Ruck & Rumble, Titans RFC, the tournament committee including tournament volunteers/officials and all associated parties shall not be held liable for any injuries sustained during the tournament or on the tournament grounds.
Coaches Briefing: Coaches briefing will start at 7:30am on the morning of Friday 7th April and Saturday 8th April followed by a brief Q&A. Only one coach/team manager is required to attend the coaches' briefing.
